Greater Cleveland Trails & Greenways Conference 2018 presented by The George Gund Foundation


We are seeking nominations to recognize and award outstanding trail & bikeway projects, creative trail programming and this year, creative community engagement/project promotion events, at the biennial Conference, May 31, 2018. The conference this year is in Downtown Cleveland and focuses on Vibrant Neighborhoods through People-Powered connections. The Showcase is an opportunity for municipalities, non-profits, park systems and for profit enterprises to highlight their accomplishments and share “Best Practices.”

In 2016 there were 36 nominations from 7 counties, 16 municipalities & neighborhoods, 4 park systems, 19 non-profit organizations, and 11 for-profit organizations. Download the 2016 booklet. See the news article:

SUBMISSIONS. Nomination is easy!

  1. Download the applicable nomination form:



  2. Review the instructions found in the “NOTES” sections.
  3. Simply delete and replace the template phrases with your own; insert digital images; use the NOTES section to elaborate on the details of the story.
  4. Rename the file (“PROJ <ProjectName>” or “PROG <ProgramName>”) and upload it at by 6:00 PM Thursday, April 26th, 2018. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 1ST!
  5. Previously submitted Projects and programs which did not receive a special recognition MAY BE RE-SUBMITTED!
