The Showcase will return at the next full (biennial) Conference. It's never too early to plan for your entry! And, to take seasonal photos. Submission details will be posted here in advance.
The Showcase recognizes and awards outstanding trail & bikeway projects, creative trail programming and creative community engagement/project promotion events. The Showcase is an opportunity for municipalities, non-profits, park systems and for-profit enterprises to highlight their accomplishments and share “Best Practices.”
A special "Champion of Trails" tribute recognizes individuals who demonstrate a long-term personal and/or professional commitment to advancing trail education, advocacy, and/or implementation of trail and bicycle projects or programs throughout Northeast, Ohio.

SUBMISSIONS. Projects & Programs Nomination is easy!
It's never too early to think about the next Showcase and to take seasonal photos. Submission details will be posted in advance of the next biennial conference. This sample submission is included below for your reference.

- Review the instructions found in the “NOTES” sections.
- Simply delete and replace the template phrases with your own; insert digital images; use the NOTES section to elaborate on the details of the story.
- Rename the file (“PROJ <ProjectName>” or “PROG <ProgramName>”) and upload it here.
- Previously submitted Projects and programs which did not receive a special recognition MAY BE RE-SUBMITTED!

NOMINATIONS. Champions!
Consider person(s) you might nominate as Champion. Details will be posted in advance of the next biennial conference.
Describe why your nominee should be recognized as a Champion of Trails in 200 words of less. Considerations:
a. Long history of leadership, effort and results on either one major several lesser projects.
b. Effort to establish and coordinate long-running or wide-reaching programming which introduces people to trail and bike facilities and builds community support.
c. Has played a role in securing or advocating for funding, land acquisition, easements, right-of-way and other resources so vital for trail and bikeway development.
d. Promotes and advances trail and bikeway support and development through professional, volunteer, civic, political, journalistic and business efforts and associations.
